Department of Botany was established in 1950 and covers an area of 362.51 sq.m. The Department offers different programs like B.Sc, M.Sc. Numbers of Students pursuing B.Sc,M.Sc is Eighteen + Eighteen. There are Three Faculty members having Ph.D Degree, Two Lab Staff(Lab Asstt.) and Four Lab Bearer) in the department.
Library and Research Lab in the department provides additional features to its Infrastructure. The Faculty members provide excellent teaching and assessment. on the basis of syllabus decided by University. HOD deserves a mention for efficient utilisation of grants provided by Principal on the basis of norms and requirements of departments.
